These terms govern your use of nationalpowerlink.com (National Powerlink) and any purchase from National Electric and Machinery, Bhotebahal-11, Sundhara, Kathmandu, Nepal (VAT No. 115103032). By using the website or placing an order, you agree to them. Last updated: 2 October 2026.

1. About us

National Powerlink is the trading name of National Electric and Machinery. We supply electrical components, hand tools, power tools and pneumatic items, to retail customers and to wholesale, dealer and project buyers.

2. Using the website

You must be at least 18 years old, or use the site under the supervision of an adult, and give accurate information. Do not misuse the site, attempt unauthorised access, copy its content for commercial use without our permission, or use it for anything unlawful.

3. Products and descriptions

We try to show product details, images, ratings and specifications accurately. Images are for illustration, and colours or packaging may differ. Brand and manufacturer specifications may change without notice. Electrical products must be selected by size, rating and standard suitable for your use; if unsure, ask us or a licensed electrician before buying.

4. Pricing and VAT

All prices are in Nepali Rupees (NPR). Unless stated otherwise, prices include or exclude VAT as shown on the product or invoice. VAT is charged as required by Nepali law, and we issue a VAT invoice on request. Prices, discounts and availability can change without notice. We may correct pricing errors and will contact you before processing an order affected by one.

5. Placing an order

Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we confirm the order. We may refuse or cancel an order, for example for stock shortage, pricing error, suspected fraud or an incomplete address, and will refund any payment already made for it.

6. Payment

We accept the payment methods shown at checkout or confirmed by us, which may include cash on delivery, bank transfer, QR or digital wallet payments. Wholesale buyers may be offered credit terms only if agreed in writing. Goods remain our property until paid for in full.

7. Shipping, returns and refunds

Delivery, returns and refunds are governed by our Shipping Policy and Refund Policy, which form part of these terms.

8. Warranty

Products carry the manufacturer's or brand's warranty where one applies. We do not offer any other warranty unless stated in writing. Warranty does not cover misuse, wrong installation, overload, accidents or normal wear.

9. Safe use and installation

Electrical and power tools can cause serious injury, fire or death if used or installed wrongly. You are responsible for using products according to the manufacturer's instructions and safety standards, and for having installation done by a qualified person.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or damage arising from misuse, wrong installation or use of a product for a purpose it was not designed for. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the product concerned. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2075 (2018) or other law that cannot be excluded.

11. Intellectual property

The website content, including our name, logo, text and layout, belongs to us or our licensors. Brand names such as CNC Electric and Harden Tools belong to their owners. You may not use them without permission.

12. Privacy

Your personal information is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

13. Force majeure

We are not liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond our control, including natural disasters, strikes, road closures, supply disruption, government action or power and internet failure.

14. Changes

We may update these terms at any time. The version on the website on the date of your order applies to that order.

15. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Nepal. We will first try to resolve any dispute by discussion. If that fails, the courts of Kathmandu, Nepal have jurisdiction.
